Duration-length of the freshwater flush to adequately flush the system.
Frequency-time between unattended freshwater flush cycles.
- Fully Programable Water Quality TDS Meter and Automatic Product Water Diversion allow the fresh drinking water made by the watermaker to be continually monitored for quality and automatically sent TO or AWAY from your ships tank. When the panel switch is turned to “AUTO TDS” the meter will monitor and send the water TO your ships tank once the water quality is below 480ppm and AWAY from your ships tank when it exceeds 500ppm. These valves are also adjustable by you and of course our motorized stainless steel 3-way valve that the TDS Meter controls is able to be manually operated in the unlikely event of an electronics failure. When the panel switch is set in the “MANUAL PURGE” position, the 3-way valve is forced away from your ships tank to either a waste location or as Rich prefers, to a water sample location at your galley or head sink. TDS -Total Dissolved Solids- is a measurement of the drinking water quality, measured in PPM-Parts per Million.
- Stainless Steel Pressure Vessel End Plugs are standard rather than anodized aluminum. After years of seeing end plug corrosion issues that makes membrane change out difficult, Rich made the decision to just spend the extra money upfront for stainless steel end plugs.
