When you receive your TDS meter from Cruiser Services it should be pre-programmed for +500ppm and above purge mode, this sends a positive voltage signal to terminal #9. -480ppm and below fresh water tank mode, this sends a positive voltage signal to terminal #7 on the back of the panel mount meter. These settings correspond with our auto motorized valve to prevent unwanted +500ppm product water from being sent to your fresh water tank on start ups.

The motorized valve is included within Install Kit No 3. If you are using a manual 3way valve such as in Install Kit No2 you will need to perform the function of diverting the valve to purge unwanted +500ppm product water.

This manual gives you information on how to check and/or change the settings and wiring methods to integrate the Auto Valve functions.

Note: An additional Auto Valve or Valves can be utilized to automate filling of multiple freshwater tanks at a push of a switch. This is illustrated on the last two pages of the manual.
