1. Dual Cooling Fans:
The compressor unit has two cooling fans rather than one.  One fan runs anytime the compressor is running, but then if the condenser gets hot, the second cooling fan kicks on to keep the unit running efficiently.  The large condensing triple pass radiator will work well in hot tropical environments as well if you plan to ever bring the boat down to Mexico!

2. Eco Mode:  This is a biggie.
The unit senses your battery voltage and will turn the compressor ON to freeze down and store BTU removal Capacity in the plate when power is available.  So when you are motoring or when your solar put your batteries into Float Mode.  This is a programmable voltage, so you can tailor it to your system.  This lets you make use of Power when it’s available and to “store it” in the eutectic plates for less draw from the batteries.  This feature can dramatically lower your daily net power consumption from the batteries vs systems without this feature.

3. Plate Internal Temp reading:
Rather than taking the temperature on the outside surface of the eutectic plate the Ozefridge units have thermal well port built into the plate that allows for the temperature probe to be placed at the center of the eutectic plate to better control the Thaw/Freeze cycle of the eutectic plate for maximum efficiency.

4. Full Stainless Steel Construction:
The full stainless steel compressor enclosure does a better job of protecting the system from corrosion and helps with better system cooling since the air flow uses all of the Radiator surface area and pulls the air over the compressor and electrical driver/controller box.  Other systems have their cooling fan mounted on the radiator/condenser so the cooling air is only pulled through a specific spot vs the entire surface area.

5.  Integrated waterproof digital controller:
While other units use a manual rheostat-type thermostat, OzeFridge units use a waterproof fully programmable digital controller.  This lets us fine tune the system operating parameters for your specific Box with easy user programming and feedback.  The Temperature band of the compressor cutting on and off can also be programed.  We use an 8-deg hysteresis (temp range) as a standard, but clients can tighten or loosen that temperature range as they like for optimal performance.  Other systems have a set 12-deg temperature range.  The results in better control of the Eutectic liquid and a more stable box temperature.

6. High and Low Pressure Service Ports with On/Off Valves:
Made for user-servicing in mind, we have both high and low pressure service ports built into the compressor unit.  This allows for easier servicing and troubleshooting by refrigeration tech around the world who are better familiar with the system charging via pressure than volume.

7. No Proprietary Refrigeration Couplings:
Rather than use proprietary O-ring fittings that are known to have leaking issues, the OzeFridge units use industry standard flare fittings.  Refrigerant On/Off Valves on both the High and Low lines, allow for an easy Plug-n-play leak free connection.  Down the road if the unit ever needs servicing, the standard refrigeration flare fittings let the user or refrigeration tech service the system without special or proprietary parts.

8. Remote Panel Option:
A $95 Option of a remote panel allows you to move the system controls from the compressor and mount them inside the boat cabin for easy access and monitoring of the system.
